The girls volleyball team at Bayside Community Day School made a mark in history for winning their first Inland Empire Alternative Schools League title. Following a 6-1 season, the Titans qualified for an intensive one-day playoff schedule that saw them win three straight matches without losing a single set. Coach Gerald Lauderman said his team was very focused. “The girls really worked hard,” he said. “They had confidence that we could win the championship.” The team took a win in the championship match over Sierra Alternative High School in San Bernardino.
