The City of Moreno Valley has expanded free WiFi Gardens to three additional local parks and facilities—Lasselle Sports Park and El Portero Park in District 4, and Woodland Park in District 3.

The new WiFi Gardens bring the overall total to 32 locations throughout Moreno Valley. These WiFi Gardens give residents access to the internet in City facilities across Moreno Valley.

“Our innovative WiFi Gardens continue to open in parks and facilities across the City," said Mayor Ulises Cabrera. "In addition to the social and educational benefits of helping our residents stay connected with friends, family, and local businesses, the high-speed internet also helps them to access vital City resources, support, and information.”

"I am thrilled that residents and visitors to Lasselle Sports Park and El Portero Park will have WiFi connectivity. Internet access in our beautiful parks gives parents added flexibility in balancing their work life with family gatherings and activities," said Mayor Pro Tem and District 4 Council Member Cheylynda Barnard.

"With expanded WiFi Gardens at Woodland Park, District 3 residents will have access to high-speed internet in more public places than ever before," said District 3 Council Member David Marquez. “I’m proud that our City keeps up with emerging technology and supports the personal and professional needs of our residents.”

Beginning in June 2020, WiFi Gardens allow residents password-free access to the internet via the “ILoveMoVal” network. To gain access, look for the green WiFi Gardens signage when in and around a City park or a City facility.
