Earth, Wind & Fire Visits Students

MORENO VALLEY>> The horn section from the well-known Earth, Wind & Fire band came to make a visit to the students of Landmark Middle School. The middle school recently hosted the first of a series of band workshops put on by the Visual and Performing Arts department. Gary Bias on the saxophone, Bobbie Burns, Jr. on the trumpet and Reggie Young on the trombone performed for more than 200 students and parents. During their time at the middle school, the musicians also answered questions about technique, practice habits, equipment and more. The visit was the result of a partnership between the VAPA and the Moreno Valley Cultural Arts Foundation.
