New AVID Online Program Developed for Local Students

Students of Val Verde Academy online school will be the first in the district to have access to the proven college-readiness strategies of Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) in an online learning environment. Val Verde Unified School District (VVUSD) has teamed up with AVID to offer the fully-online program throughout the district with free tuition, online public school Val Verde Academy. AVID is a college-readiness system that teaches students essential tools and strategies needed to be successful in school and post-high school education.
