The City of Moreno Valley and Riverside County Waste Management Department are now hosting Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection events on Saturday and Sunday! The next Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection event will be hosted on Saturday, Oct. 31 and Sunday, Nov. 1 at the City Corporate Yard located at 15670 Perris Blvd., from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. This event is open to all Riverside County Residents. A significant amount of waste is accepted at these events including, but not limited to, sharps (syringes), used oil, used oil filters, batteries, fluorescent light tubes, electronics, pesticides, and paint. Residents are allowed multiple trips, but are limited to 125 pounds or 15 gallons of material per trip. Individual containers should be no larger than five gallons or weigh more than 50 pounds. The collection event supports the City's Keep Moreno Valley Beautiful initiatives by allowing residents to properly dispose of household waste to ensure a cleaner, greener Moreno Valley.
