The Moreno Valley Mall has reopened after a temporary shutdown due to serious fire safety concerns.

City officials previously ordered portions of the mall closed after inspectors identified multiple violations, including issues with fire protection systems and emergency safety measures. The closure impacted interior stores and common areas, though anchor tenants remained open.

Following repairs and a formal agreement with city officials, the mall was allowed to resume operations once safety requirements were met.

City leaders emphasized that the closure was necessary to protect public safety and ensure compliance with fire codes.
