You might want to take a drive past the new Alternative Education campus that’s taking shape at the corner of Cactus and Indian. The new site will be home to Bayside Community Day School, Moreno Valley Community Learning Center, Moreno Valley Online Academy (MVOA) and the Graduation Opportunity (GO) program. The new campus will have two new permanent buildings, and 37 portable classrooms and restroom buildings, totaling approximately 50,000+ square feet of building space. It also will include a library, computer lab, multipurpose room, food service room, counseling offices, other support offices and an administrative building. The multipurpose room, library, kitchen, workrooms, playing fields and hard courts will be shared by all programs. The new campus is designed with capacity for 500 students. The target for completion is this summer.
