Vista del Lago juniors in the school’s Health Academy got more than they expected at the recent “Dare to be Aware” conference. The keynote speaker asked them to post their biggest fears on sticky notes and attach them to the wall.
Then they literally faced their fears and, in so doing, symbolically released them. Maybe President Franklin Roosevelt was right when he said the only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
