Sylvester Dunlap is a portrait of perseverance. He came to the MVUSD Adult School in 2008 determined to finish his high school education and earn his diploma.
He was 70 credits or 14 classes short, and over the past seven years, Sylvester has been squeezing in evening classes as he could, just one or two per semester.
On St. Patrick’s Day, he finished. He earned that diploma, which may well be an understatement.
