More than 100 leadership students from Sunnymead, Badger Springs, Mountain View, Vista Heights and Landmark middle schools joined 30 Palm Middle School leadership students at their school for the California Association of Student Leaders (CASL) Leadership Development Day. This was CASL's first Leadership Development Day held at MVUSD. The day of leadership training focused on learning through experience and evaluation while working in small-group sessions. During breakout sessions, student leaders learned how to positively encourage their peers to get involved in campus activities using a leadership base and their individual talents. The day went so well it may become an annual event!
