World Logistics Center Project Hearing Rescheduled
by on 2015-07-20
The public hearing on the proposed World Logistics Center project has been rescheduled to August 17 at 5 p.m. in the Conference and Recreation Center located at 14075 Frederick St.
The Planning Commission, serving as an advisory body to the City Council on the project, completed its review of the proposed project on June 30. The Planning Commission's Hearing extended over three separate dates and was well attended each night, with approximately 450 people in attendance on the first night.
Similar public interest is expected for the City Council's consideration of this project involving over 3,800 acres in the eastern portion of the city. The upcoming hearing will include presentations from City staff and the developer, and will subsequently be opened for public comments.
Rescheduling this hearing will allow proceedings to take place in a single facility which can accommodate the level of attendance anticipated for this project.
The agenda and related documents will be made available on the City's website.
