The sports renaissance that’s been taking place this year at Vista del Lago High School can almost be traced back to last year’s girls tennis team’s strong finish. The girls continued their winning ways this year. Recently, the Ravens competed at the two-day Mountain Valley League Tennis Championship, an end-of-year tournament to determine who the best individual singles players and doubles team are in the league. After first being announced as League Doubles MVPs, Danielle Sanchez and Kailee Terrill won the tournament, defeating Rubidoux in the final round with a commanding 6-1, 6-0 score.
