Students of the Month - City News Group

This month’s luncheon was the last for this school year. The Student of the Month luncheon honors exceptional seniors from MVUSD and VVUSD high schools, though not necessarily those with the highest GPAs. April’s Students of the Month are: Jacob Pereyda (CSHS); Ricardo Ruiz Chavira (Citrus Hill); Verónica De La Torre (MMHS); Martha Herrera (Middle College); Haniel Aguilar (MVHS); Marc Morgan (Rancho Verde); Shannon Cho (Val Verde Academy); Daisy Hernandez Trujillo (Val Verde HS); Jacob Barkley (VVHS); and Mia Jacobs (VDLHS). While many school districts have student-recognition events, few partner the way MVUSD and VVUSD do to honor students together. As always, thanks to the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce for making it all possible each month.
