It has been another dominant year in the PacWest for California Baptist University as head coach Ben Gall and freshman runner Ken Kipkorir earned top awards for the 2015 cross country season. Coaching his men to an unprecedented fifth consecutive PacWest title, and his women to a second consecutive and third overall conference crown, Gall received his fourth consecutive PacWest Coach of the Year honor, as voted on by the conference coaches. Following suit, Ken Kipkorir was named PacWest Freshman of the Year with a stellar performance in the conference meet where he finished in eighth with a time of 25 minutes, 19.8 seconds. Kipkorir was the first freshman to cross the finish line. He had a fine regular season taking sixth place at the CBU Invitational (25:29.7) and 13th at the Lancer Invitational (19:33.1), his first collegiate race. CBU's men are ranked fourth in the region and 14th in the nation.
