It was a day of great fun, laughs, and smiles all around. If you were there for any part of it, you were able to feel the spirit of patriotism and the community coming together as one. The city of Moreno Valley was up bright and early on July 4th preparing for their annual city parade. Clubs, businesses, churches, schools, and city members all came together to take part in the parade for the city.

Parts of Alessandro and Frederick were blocked off as the parade marched its way to Town Gate Plaza. It was led by Moreno Valley’s finest in the police and fire departments. Accompanied by the sky escorts soaring overhead. It was a great sight to see and one of the best ways to kick start this parade.

The parade continued one with cars cruising down the parade path with members from the city council in them. Members including the Mayor himself, Mayor Pro Tem, the city manager and many many more.

Along with the different members of the city the parade was filled with clubs such as the VFW Post, United Methodist Church, multiple sports clubs, and even the arts commissions.

Two of the participants that stuck out the most were the Moreno Valley All District March Band and the Pacific Coast Marching Band. The All District Marching Band consisted of members from the marching band from all four high schools in Moreno Valley. They were able to come together and put on a great performance for the city.

The Pacific Coast Marching Band put on an equally amazing performance as they marched their way down the parade path suited up in their uniforms.

It was such a sight to see as the floats made their way through the street tossing candies, necklaces, and giving out American flags to the viewers. One of the best parts was getting to watch the parade views take part in the fun as well. With certain floats playing music and dancing they invited viewers in on their dances and fun.

The atmosphere was amazing and the crowd was loving every moment of the parade. The people of Moreno Valley came together to celebrate a special day for our nation and share their love of such an amazing city and country.
