The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) has recognized Justin Remington, Athletic Director at Canyon Springs High School, as a Certified Athletic Administrator.
To earn this distinction, Justin has demonstrated the highest level of knowledge and expertise in the field of interscholastic athletic administration. The voluntary certification process included a thorough evaluation of the candidate's educational background, experience and professional contributions, as well as a rigorous, comprehensive written examination.
Moreno Valley Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Kedziora congratulated Justin, saying, “Coach Remington is a wonderful teacher model for his students as a lifelong learner. We are lucky to have him in our district and our students are for the better having educators like Coach Remington.”
Justin is one of an elite group of interscholastic athletic administrators nationwide to attain this level of professionalism.
“We are proud of Justin’s commitment to his profession and dedication to his students,” said Moreno Valley Unified School District Board President Darrell Peeden. “I congratulate him on this achievement, which is a well-deserved recognition of his knowledge and contribution to Canyon Springs High School.”
The NIAAA is a national professional organization consisting of all 50 state athletic administrator associations and more than 12,000 individual members. It is dedicated to promoting the professional growth of high school athletic administrators and preserving the educational nature of interscholastic athletics and the place of these programs in the secondary school curriculum.
