The City of Moreno Valley is looking for volunteers who want to make a difference in their community. Church groups, boy scouts, students, and families are encouraged to get involved and help make Moreno Valley a cleaner, greener place to live. "This program was developed to provide a great many opportunities for Community Service with both Val Verde and Moreno Valley School District students," said Council Member Jeff Giba. "This program will afford our young involved people to serve their community while keeping Moreno Valley Beautiful." Volunteer opportunities include: • Assist qualifying property owners in addressing code violations via property clean ups • Neighborhood litter clean ups • Bulky item clean up events • Volunteer efforts may be applied towards students' community service hour requirements The Keep Moreno Valley Beautiful (KMVB) mission is to build partnership, which inspire community engagement and enhance the quality of life and civic pride in the City of Moreno Valley. Volunteer applications are available on the City's webpage at www.moreno-valley.ca.us. For more information, please contact Julie Reyes at 951-413-3047 or email MoValRecycles@moval.org.
