Weekly Message from the Mayor

MORENO VALLEY>> The City of Moreno Valley was proud to sponsor the 2017 Moreno Valley Region Economic and Workforce Development Summit this past week. As one of the event's presenters, I had the opportunity to share how Moreno Valley's successful economic strategies have worked to bring Fortune 500 and international companies, including Amazon, Proctor and Gamble, Deckers Outdoor, Karma, and Hyundai, and create more than 9,000 jobs in the last three years. I also highlighted the city's Hire MoVal program, an initiative which encourages businesses to hire Moreno Valley residents. The event also showcased other opportunities and resources available to stimulate economic growth and job creation across the region. Thank you to the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce for organizing this important event.
