Long-time educator and Riverside Unified School District Superintendent, Ms. Renee Hill, presided as the Grand Marshall for Riverside's 43rd Annual Black History Parade.
Hill was accompanied by RUSD Board of Education Clerk Mr. Tom Hunt, who has served as a Board Member for 16 years, and John W. North and Poly High School students who marched in the parade.
This year's parade theme was Inland Empire, Moving Forward in Unity, and was hosted by the Adrian Dell & Carmen Roberts Foundation.

"I remember attending the first Riverside Black History Day Parade as a UCR Student," said Superintendent Renee Hill. "It was an honor to be the 2023 Grand Marshall for this historical parade and to celebrate Black History with the Riverside Community."
