Students from Moreno Valley High School and Music Changing Lives toured UCR to get a taste of life after high school.

Students can become short on credits for any number of reasons, but they work hard to recover those credits for just one reason: they want to graduate and move forward successfully. English credit-recovery students from Moreno Valley High School, along with students participating in Music Changing Lives, took a tour of UCR recently to explore their post-graduation options. The students participated in workshops on financial aid, college life, college activities and clubs, and how to select a major. The field trip was organized by Josiah Bruny, director of Music Changing Lives, a club that sends UCR students to MVHS every Wednesday after school to help teach students to play an instrument, write poetry, paint, create cartoons, get tutoring and to help with homework.
