Media Invited to a BehindtheScenes Tour of the Riverside County Central Ballot Location Center

The Riverside County Registrar of Voters extends an invitation to the media for an on-site tour, offering a glimpse into the ballot processing and the stringent measures in place to safeguard votes from the moment they are cast. Additionally, media attendees will have the opportunity to explore the recently renovated ballot processing area, which has been thoughtfully designed to enhance the experience for election observers by providing a more immersive and informative environment. The Registrar of Voters staff will lead a guided tour through the ballot processing areas, showcasing the following key functions: Receipt of ballots Sorting and extraction of ballots Verification of ballot signatures  Ballot duplication procedures Adjudication Scanning of ballots Processing of ballots from vote centers Archiving procedures for ballots  VISUALS:  Photography and b-roll footage are permitted during the guided tour to capture the activities taking place.
