Each year the Vista Heights Middle School AVID program enters the RIMS (Riverside, Inyo, Mono, San Bernardino Counties) Write-off Essay Contest. This year, Cassandrah Barcenas, a second-year AVID student, was selected as the seventh-grade RIMS Regional Winner!
Cassandrah will be recognized at ceremonies March 31 at the University of Redlands.
