Congratulations to the Eagles of Valley View and Coach Leigh Ann Long, who advanced to the CIF Southern Section basketball quarterfinals.
The Eagles finally came up short against Foothill (Orange County), but only after reaching the quarterfinals for the third straight year and providing yet another extended season's worth of excitement for fans.
