The City of Moreno Valley will celebrate the first new park opening in four years. The City's Parks & Community Services Department is proudly hosting a grand opening dedication for Lasselle Sports Park on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. Located at 17155 Lasselle Street, the new 12 ¾ acre sports park features: • Three football fields • Modern concession stand • Ample restrooms and parking lot • Large play apparatus • Picnic shelters • Beautiful walkways and a walking track • Security lighting • Scoreboards • and Water-wise landscaping Moreno Valley residents are encouraged to come out and celebrate their community. The dedication event includes refreshments, a marching band performance, local youth football games, and a formal ribbon cutting.
