On August 30th, 2018, the Moreno Valley Police Department’s Robbery and Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) assumed an investigation into a commercial burglary crime spree where the suspects targeted a specific chain of therapeutic massage businesses.  The suspects were involved in a series of thirty-six burglaries from San Diego and Riverside County, to San Bernardino County. RBST conducted a thorough investigation and identified two potential suspects involved in the crime spree.  Officers shared this information with other agencies and began a surveillance operation.  On October 10, 2018, at approximately 12:30 AM, two suspects were arrested after a commercial burglary within the 27000 block of Eucalyptus, Moreno Valley.  Search warrants were served at a residence and a vehicle in Moreno Valley, which produced evidence further linking the suspects to the crimes. Joshua Monk (24-years-old) and Marc Wideman (30-years-old), both residents of Moreno Valley, were arrested and booked into Robert Presley Detention Center (RPDC) for burglary, possession of stolen property, and conspiracy to commit a felony.  The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information related to this case is encouraged to contact Deputy Rivera with the Robbery and Burglary Suppression Team at the Moreno Valley Police Department by calling (951) 486-6700.
