LandMark Middle Members awarded "schools to watch."

MORENO VALLEY>> LandMark Middle School has been recognized as a "School to Watch" under the National Forum to Accelerate Middle Grades Reform. It was also one of the few selected in California in 2014 and will be used to show the ideal form of a middle school across the country. The National Forum to Accelerate Middle Grades Reform works by promoting youth academic performance and health development by providing researched criteria to help in areas of education. To be considered a "School to Watch" institute, the school must embody "academic excellence, developmental responsiveness, social equity, and organizational structure" to be categorized as a "School to Watch". “Middle school is a precarious time for students, as they become more independent teenagers and have to decide how they’re going to approach their educations,” explained Superintendent Dr. Martinrex Kedziora. “We’re working hard to keep them focused on the tremendous opportunities and possibilities available to them if they choose to make their education a priority.”
