Mayor of Moreno Valley invites the residents of Moreno Valley to beautify MoVal!

Dear Moreno Valley Residents, One of Moreno Valley’s greatest strengths is our spirit of volunteerism. Residents of all ages have come together over the years to improve our community, from serving on commissions to volunteering at the Senior Center. It’s almost time for one of our most popular community volunteer events—the Beautify MoVal Community Day of Service on Saturday, February 11, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Beautify MoVal is one of my favorite events because it allows residents of all ages the opportunity to help maintain the beauty of our Moreno Valley parks. This event is a great way to meet your neighbors, do team-building exercises, or show pride in your community. Since this program began nearly two years ago, I have worked alongside many smiling faces painting curbs, raking leaves, planting trees, and more. This time, we will beautify Westbluff Park in District Two and John F. Kennedy Memorial Park in District Four. I invite you to join the City Council in front of City Hall at 8 a.m. for free coffee, pastries, and fun games for kids before we set off to Beautify MoVal.   Learn more and sign up at moval.org/beautify. I’ll see you there!
