Mayor's Message: New Businesses

By Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez

Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

As difficult as the last 12 months have been, the City Council and I have never lost sight of the fact that, eventually, the pandemic will subside.  Businesses that survive the rolling shutdowns will fully reopen, and jobs will return.  But we’re not waiting until then to start rebuilding our local economy.

In the past year, we’ve continued to work with businesses large and small to help them start up or relocate in Moreno Valley.  Among the businesses that have opened in our City in the past year are Tractor Supply Company and Country Kitchen.  And coming soon are KIA/Car Pros, Sprouts Farmers Market, and the Food Hall at Perris Pavilion.

If Moreno Valley can attract great new businesses and jobs during such a difficult year, imagine how our local economy will soar once we can safely get back to business!
