Mayor's Message Training Tuesdays

Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

As Mayor, I am a believer in the saying that the best social program in the world is a good job.  So I’m pleased to announce that the City of Moreno Valley Economic Development Department has launched a new series of free workshops designed to help job seekers become more desirable potential employees.

These new workshops will be held on Tuesdays at the City's Employment Resource Center (ERC) located at 12625 Frederick St., Suite K-3, in the TownGate Shopping Center.

The new "Training Tuesdays" workforce-development series, which complements the already-popular Small Business Wednesdays program, will provide job seekers with free training and resources to learn new skills, gain a competitive advantage and prepare for future work opportunities. And because MoVal is a military-friendly City and community, the workshops on the second Tuesday of each month will be focused on helping veterans, active-duty personnel and their families.

Training Tuesdays is another great idea that addresses our residents' real needs by providing real skills they can use to succeed. The important services that the city provides through the Employment Resource Center are benefiting the region's overall economic climate.
