If you want to know what a school is really like, it's best to ask the students who attend there. With that in mind, some star athletes and ASB officers from Vista del Lago High School paid a visit to Landmark Middle School at lunch to talk with students there about what they can expect when they become VDLHS Ravens. Landmark students learned that Vista del Lago's graduation rate exceeds both the state and national averages, and that VDLHS had the greatest graduation-rate increase last year (6.7 percent) of any MVUSD high schools. Its outstanding academic programs, including a rapidly expanding AVID offering, Visual and Performing Arts, Business, Health Career and Engineering pathways, and overall student academic achievement are matched by the school's athletic teams, several of which - football, volleyball and girls tennis - are currently undefeated. The list goes on and on. If you really want to know about how great Vista del Lago High School is, then just ask a student.
