The Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce recently graduated its 20th Leadership Moreno Valley Class. The Leadership Moreno Valley program continues to reflect the responsibility felt by the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce to nurture leadership excellence. This graduating class, as with the 19 preceding classes, has consisted of knowledgeable men and women dedicated to Moreno Valley and its future. The Leadership Moreno Valley Class of 2015 has been exposed to the diversity that makes up life in Moreno Valley as well as the dynamics and challenges created by the changing economy. They have participated in programs involving Moreno Valley’s government, business, media, health care, education, public safety, natural resources, military affairs and quality of life. These “hands on” programs were designed to develop relationships between the participating members and local leaders as they continue their leadership roles. The culmination of the 2014-2015 Leadership Moreno Valley Program concluded with a graduation luncheon held on June 25. The Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce especially thanks Moreno Valley College for being the host location for the luncheon. Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Oscar Valdepeña, who also serves as the Leadership Moreno Valley Chair, presented each graduating member of the class with an award recognizing their participation in the Leadership Moreno Valley 2014-2015 Program.
