MORENO VALLEY>> On Sunday, Dec. 11 at 4 p.m., the Moreno Valley Master Chorale and Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Viorel Gheorghe, will present a Carols by Candlelight concert at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, located at 11650 Perris Blvd., north of Ironwood in Moreno Valley. Please plan to come, sit back and enjoy your favorite seasonal music as the chorale and orchestra put you in a holiday mood by performing a relaxing selection of traditional Christmas music including works by Mozart, Fauré and Pergolesi. In addition, the Chorale and Orchestra will be accompanied by Kimberley Amin on organ, with sopranos Camilia Voin and Stephanie Steele as soloists. Special guest singers for this concert will be the Armada Elementary School Choir. Under the direction of Stephanie Steele, they will perform several popular holiday songs children will be sure to enjoy. The Chorale has been supporting this after school choir the last two years with funds received from the Riverside Community Arts Partnership program. Tickets are cash only and will be available at the door. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors, students and children over 5 years of age. For more information call (951) 485-8414 or go to the Chorale website at www.morenovalleymasterchorale.org.
