The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is thrilled to be part of the City's 7th Annual ArtoberFest event at the Conference & Recreation Center this Saturday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Special discounted adoption rates apply during this special event. Dogs and puppies are available for only $50 while cats and kittens are available for $25. These adoption prices include spay or neuter surgery, 5 in 1, bordetella and rabies vaccinations, along with a HomeAgain microchip. Pets adopted on Saturday, October 18th, which are not altered, will be available to go home the following Monday afternoon after being spayed or neutered. The special adoption rates will also be available at the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter located at 14041 Elsworth Street from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. These special rates are part of Animal Shelter's participation in the 2014 Blue Buffalo Home 4 the Holidays Pet Adoption Campaign sponsored by Blue Buffalo and the Helen Woodward Animal Center. "This pet promotion event at the Conference & Recreation Center and at the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter gives families an opportunity to enrich their lives by giving a homeless pet a forever home during this holiday season," said Steve Fries, Animal Services Division Manager. The Helen Woodward Pet Adoption Center is a longtime supporter of the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter, which is one of more than 3,500 pet adoption agencies, facilities and rescue groups participating in the Home 4 the Holidays pet adoption campaign.
