Moreno Valley College Gospel Singers to Perform at Disneyland

The Moreno Valley College Gospel Singers have been selected by Disneyland to perform at its Celebrate Gospel — A Day of Music, Celebration and Fun — on Feb. 15, at Disney's California Adventure Park. This year's celebration marks the fifth anniversary of the event and the MVC Gospel Singers second selection to participate in the event, the first coming in 2012. Gospel groups are selected through a video audition showcasing two full-length pieces of material. A limited number of gospel groups were selected to perform from the five Southern California counties. "I am honored to be a part of this event and applaud Disney for recognizing and showcasing this important genre of music," said Kelli Dower, director of the MVC Gospel Singers. "Our students are being exposed to great audiences and will share this memory with their fellow choir members for years to come."
