Moreno Valley Hosts Recruitment Job Fair

MORENO VALLEY>> The City of Moreno Valley has been selected to partner with Amazon to fill up to 10,000 jobs in Inland Southern California. As part of the Hire MoVal program, the city will host Amazon's job fairs at the Moreno Valley Conference and Recreational Center and the Moreno Valley Employment Resource Center. "The city is excited to partner with Amazon for one of the biggest hiring events ever held in our region," said Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez. "Hosting the event in Moreno Valley brings these job opportunities to our residents, as another element of the city's award winning Hire MoVal program." The event began in October and will continue Nov. 21-23 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Center located at 14075 Frederick Street. The recruiting events will feature "on-the-spot" job offers. Those who are interested can apply online at the Moreno Valley Employment Resource Center at 12625 Frederick Street, Suite K-3, in the TownGate Center where computers and staff are standing to help with online applications. The ERC is a partnership between the City of Moreno Valley and Riverside County Workforce Development Center. Applicants can also apply at the Amazon ONT6 Recruiting Office, Located at 24208 San Michele Rd in Moreno Valley. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for walk-ins.
