Pumpkin Train is a Fall tradition not to be missed at the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris. On Oct. 18, 19, 25 and 26, ride a trolley to the pumpkin patch where you can pick out and decorate your own pumpkin. In addition to the trolley ride, there will be a bounce house, children's games, a balloon entertainer, bubble wands, storytelling during a decorated train ride, Spooky Caboose and child-size train rides. Wear your costume and take part in a costume contest at 12:30 p.m. each day. Ages 12 and up $18; 5 to 11, $14; 2 to 4, $7. Member tickets are 12 and up, $9; and 2 to 11, $7. Each paid ticket includes a free good-sized pumpkin. An extra pumpkin is $7. Child-size train rides are an extra nominal charge. The trolley to the pumpkin patch and the decorated train depart from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call the museum at 951-943-3020 to make reservations.
