Artwork Is Wanted for Display at City Hall

MORENO VALLEY>>The City of Moreno Valley is currently accepting applications from local artists to display their artwork at City Hall and other City facilities through its Art Loan program.

Selected artwork will be on display from September through December. Artists must live in Moreno Valley to have their work displayed.

The City’s Arts Commission will review all works of art submitted for exhibition. Family-friendly artwork is preferred. The deadline for submission is August 17.

Applications are available at http://www.moval.org/city_council/committees/arts.shtml.

The Arts Commission of Moreno Valley strives to provide ways in which the public can participate in the arts either by attending an art show or participating by submission of art. Art shows such as these give a sense of pride to the communities in Moreno Valley, with all artists needing to reside in Moreno Valley, it provides a connection for the people of Moreno Valley as the art remains local and close to the community.
