VVHS Alum Leads Cal Poly Pomona to National Soccer Championship Match

The Broncos of Cal Poly Pomona finished second in the nation in NCAA Division II men’s soccer, helped there by Valley View alumnus Alexander Turkson. Along the way, the Broncos racked up a school-record-tying 17 wins. Turkson graduated from The View in 2012, where he guided the boys' soccer program to three consecutive Inland Valley League championships, and was a two-time All-League First Team and All-CIF First Team honoree. He was named the CIF Division II Player of the Year as a senior. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.
