Explorers' Hard Work Rewarded With Day at the Beach

Members of the Moreno Valley Police Department Explorer Post recently enjoyed a day cooling off at the beach as a reward for volunteering nearly 5,600 hours in a variety of assignments and community projects.

The MVPD Explorers joined explorers from the Jurupa Valley and Hemet Explorer posts in taking a break from the heat to travel to Oceanside. The explorers enjoyed a day of food, sand, surf, and the camaraderie of their fellow explorers.

The Explorer program is always looking for a few good recruits who are interested in learning about a career in law enforcement while giving back to their communities. Please contact Moreno Valley Police Officer Moreno at 951.486.6717 for more information.
