Bring a Pet Home for the Holidays

MORENO VALLEY>> Local families can make the season special by adopting a pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter. The annual "Home for the Holidays" Pet Adoption promotion will offer discounted adoption rates from Tuesday, Nov. 15 through Saturday, Nov. 19. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dogs and puppies will be available for $50, while cats and kittens will be available for $15 during the event. Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, the first complete round of vaccinations and a HomeAgain microchip. Adoption gift certificates are also available at the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter, located at 14041 Elsworth Street.
