“Droves” is a good word to describe the turnout at last Thursday’s New Ravens Night at VDLHS. Incoming students and their parents packed a presentation featuring performances from the school’s renowned band, choir, cheer, dance and drama programs – always a great start to Raven events. Counselors talked about the academic and social aspects of high school, explaining the importance of credits, A-G requirements, how to use Infinite Campus and more. And then soon-to-be freshmen visited the Commons to meet representatives from Vista del Lago’s many clubs and athletic programs. The evening finished with a full house at the College and Career Fair. Principal Janelle Woodward and her staff are excited about the incoming Class of 2019.
