Honoring a Past Culture

Day of the Dead is an annual theme for Canyon Springs art students, but there’s always a twist. This year, students chose to honor a past culture or civilization. This piece is by student artist Soli Hunt. Want to see more? The students currently have their Day of the Dead artwork on display at the Vanguard Art Gallery until the first week of November. The Vanguard Art Gallery will have a Day of the Dead Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
