Loma Linda University Health System (LLUHS) department of plastic surgery is hosting its fifth annual Riverside Spring Educational Forum Thursday, May 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Riverside clinic located at 3762 Tibbetts Street. Subhas Gupta, MD, PhD, chair of the LLUHS department of plastic surgery and his team of expert physicians and nurses who are focused on aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery will be on hand to provide demonstrations and answer questions in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. “Our spring event has become a major focus of our educational outreach over the past four years,” Gupta said. “With everything we will be offering, this is sure to be one of our most educational events to date." This year the event will feature a demonstration on a “selfie” makeover showing how minimally invasive treatments, such as soft tissue fillers and Botox, can enhance ones own “selfie.” There will also be a presentation titled, “Spring Cleaning: Seven Powerful Nutrition and Detox Secrets Revealed,” during which key nutrition secrets to build and repair the body will be shared with attendees. The department of plastic surgery will also offer a limited number of digital skin analyses to attendees to help them identify changes to their own facial skin. To RSVP or for more information on this free event, please call 951-686-2224 or visit the department of plastic surgery online at lluplasticsurgery.com.
