After placing a conference-high 11 players on the PacWest All-Conference team last year, California Baptist University put six student-athletes on the 2015 list with four Lancers making repeat appearances. Courtney Shutts, Lauren Wallberg, Riley Phillips and Sara Escobedo all grabbed their second All-PacWest recognition, while Desarae Felix and Chaylin Couzens picked up their first nods. Shutts, Felix and Couzens found spots on the second team, while the other three earned third-team distinctions. Shutts, Riley and Escobedo locked down the Lancer defense to boast a 0.91 goals against average (0.88 for Escobedo). In the final four games of the season, CBU's defense only allowed one goal. Escobedo and Shutts each picked up PacWest Defender of the Week honors, with Shutts earning the honor in her final two games as a Lancer. Couzens finished the year with a team-high six goals on the year, including one game-winning goal, which came in a 2-1 victory over Holy Names. Felix followed not far behind Couzens, posting four goals in her collegiate debut season, also with one game-winner to lift CBU 1-0 over PacWest Champions Point Loma. She also assisted three other goals. Wallberg concluded her four-year career in the Lancer midfield with three goals in her final campaign. Her game-winning goal came in a 1-0 victory against BYU-Hawaii. CBU closed out 2015 on a four-game winning streak to end the year with a 9-7-2 overall record and 9-3-1 conference mark.
