Mike Lee Appointed Community and Economic Development Director

Mike Lee has been appointed as Moreno Valley's Community and Economic Development Director. Lee officially joined the city's executive team on Feb. 17. He brings approximately 19 years of local government experience to his position with Moreno Valley, with a strong track record for success in the economic development, community development and redevelopment areas. Lee comes to Moreno Valley from the City of West Covina where he served as Assistant City Manager and Community Development Commission Director. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Cal Poly Pomona and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of La Verne. "Job Creation and Economic Development are top priorities for our City Council and our residents," said City Manager Michelle Dawson. "Mike's previous success in expanding commercial and retail development prepares him well for success in Moreno Valley."
