Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

MORENO VALLEY >> The City of Moreno Valley and Riverside County Waste Management Department will host a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection event on Saturday, April 16, at the City Corporate Yard located at 15670 Perris Blvd from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. This event is open to all Riverside County Residents. The City would also like to remind patrons that the event will take place on Saturday only. A significant amount of waste is accepted at these events including, but not limited to sharps (syringes), used oil, used oil filters, batteries, fluorescent light tubes, electronics, pesticides and paint. Residents are allowed multiple trips, but are limited to 125 pounds or 15 gallons of material per trip. Individual containers should be no larger than five gallons or weigh more than 50 pounds. The collection event supports the City's Keep Moreno Valley Beautiful initiatives by allowing residents to properly dispose of household waste to ensure a cleaner, greener Moreno Valley.
