NAIOP, the nation's leading association for industrial, office, retail and mixed-use real estate developers, recently selected Moreno Valley's Amazon Fulfillment Center, developed by Trammell Crow Company, for E-commerce Project of the Year. The project's economic success, positive impact on the local community, efficient site plan, and advanced security technologies led to its selection for this award. "This project was a true public private partnership between Trammell Crow Company, Amazon and the city of Moreno Valley. We are very happy to have this state-of-the art facility in our city and we congratulate Amazon and Trammell Crow on this prestigious award," said Mayor Jesse Molina. The Amazon Fulfillment Center is a 1.25 million-square-foot industrial fulfillment center located on 75 acres in the city of Moreno Valley and was completed in 2014. As a result, the city gained a premier e-commerce facility, significant job opportunities, positive regional and national recognition, and a state-of-the-art distribution facility designed and built to the highest standards. The city council will recognize Trammell Crow Company at a special presentation to be scheduled in the near future.
