Moreno Valley Welcomes Steve Quintanilla as Interim City Attorney

The Moreno Valley City Council announced it has contracted with the Law Offices of Quintanilla & Associates to provide interim city attorney services to the city. Steve Quintanilla, president of Quintanilla & Associates, is serving as the city's interim city attorney as of July 15, a release from the city stated. Quintanilla currently serves as the city attorney and as city prosecutor for the cities of Rancho Mirage and Desert Hot Springs. He has also served in various legal counsel capacities for the cities of Cathedral City, Coachella, Calabasas, Hermosa Beach, South Pasadena, Chula Vista, San Luis Obispo and Benicia. In addition to preparing several comprehensive guides for use by public officials on topics such as the state's ethics laws and the Brown Act, Quintanilla's work has been published in the League of California Cities' "Western Cities" magazine. Quintanilla earned his Juris Doctorate from the UCLA School of Law, a Master of Arts degree in Urban Planning from the UCLA School of Architecture and Urban Planning and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Policy from the UCLA Geography Department, from which he graduated magna cum laude and with numerous other academic honors. Quintanilla & Associates will maintain office hours at Moreno Valley City Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays.
