The Vanguard Art Gallery is well-known for hosting affordable and even free various events, exhibits, and even small shows for the community throughout the year. Richard L. F. Archer, Sr., President of Moreno Valley Cultural Arts Foundation (MVCAF) and Director of the Vanguard Art Gallery has mentioned from his previous events that the gallery hopes to gradually gain awareness throughout the community. "The response we’re getting is just incredible and people have been immensely appreciative of what we’re doing here," he shared after hosting an Art Exhibit earlier this year. The most recent event held at the Vanguard, "Wine and Paint with Jeni Bate" event was another success. A myriad of artistic community members gathered at the Vanguard on Thursday, Oct. 1, for a fun night of painting. For $50 a person, attendees were treated to a night of painting with friends and community members that includes all the art supplies, beverages, and appetizers throughout the night. Arched shared, "We had a very nice group of friends that came together as a group. It was a night full of laughter and a chance for everyone to explore their artistic side." Archer shared on The Vanguard Art Gallery Facebook page, "Thanks to everyone that made it a very special night!"
