MORENO VALLEY>> With Christmas just days away, Mr. and Mrs. Claus made special visits to two schools in the Moreno Valley Unified School District.
Midland Elementary School welcomed Santa at the school’s annual “Cookies with Santa” event. More than 170 families showed up for the event, organized by Midland’s Parent Teacher Organization, for cookies, good cheer and a chance to get a photo with Santa.
Before visiting Midland Elementary, Santa made a stop at Edgemont Elementary School and while Mrs. Claus may usually play a supporting role to her famous husband, she also made an appearance at Edgemont Elementary.
Children gathered around her in the library for the yearly tradition of listening to Mrs. Claus read some holiday stories.
